Nice blog! It's really great to know a fan's opinion about some good books which one would like to read too! Being an author myself, I'd like to ask you whether you think that new authors must strive to create new creatures/characters in their books, the "öld" like wizards with sharp-hats, dwarves, dragons, fairies, unicorns, etc. are too ordinary already? Am I right to do that in my books (weightless korks, fish-keepers, fiery men, one-eyeds, rock pieces, Brown faces, etc)? Hope that way a book would be much more interesting? Best wishes!
